Saddleback HarleyDavidson is looking for a fulltime Associate who is a HarleyDavidson enthusiast and enjoys sharing the HarleyDavidson experience to join our team.
You must have an outgoing pleasant personality and provide excellent customer service to walkin and telephone customers.
Demonstrate good communication skills computer skills be able and willing to learn the features of the products point of sale cash register and the inventory system.
Will also be required to display stock and organize merchandise.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include Saturdays.
JOB SUMMARY Provide prompt and accurate service at the cash register.
Assist General Merchandise Manager with attaining retail sales plans in General Merchandise.
Receive and process merchandise from distributors check merchandise received against purchase invoice log merchandise into inventory and prepare product for showroom floor.
Conduct or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise counts reports etc.
Assist with setup organization and staging of special events such as Open houses HOG activities fashion shows etc.
Create wellorganized presentations which appeal to our customers.
Ensure merchandise displays are stocked clean dust free and appealing to customers.
Continuously maintain showroom product availability by stocking shelves and displays.
Maintain update customer mailing lists.
Attend training sessions to keep current with merchandising inventory control issues ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide excellent customer service to all of the dealerships customers.
Greet customers immediately in a courteous and friendly manner.
Possess the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously.
Point out any sales specials or new merchandise to customers.
Assist customers with their selection of merchandise and offer additional product that compliments the purchase.
Accept cash credit card payments for merchandise purchases.
Keep cash register accurate.
Notify customers when special orders or backordered items are received.
Handle customer complaints reasonably showing empathy and a positive attitude and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service.
Engage with online customers during their sales process REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS Strong computer skills Experience with customer service or sales Possess creative merchandising skills Must be motivated and possess an outgoing personality.
Excellent customer service and a passion for all things related to motorcycles EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Sales year Required Customer Service year Required Previous dealership sales experience a plus BENEFITS Compensation base plus commission.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
