The Counter/Cashier greets and takes telephone orders from customers with a smile and with the aloha spirit, in accordance to Mo' Bettah's customer service policies. Works in tandem with the grill cook and the rest of the team members to plate up the customers' orders with efficiency and effectiveness.
Critical skills and abilities for success:
Tremendous customer service capabilities with a friendly demeanor and disposition
Excellent communication skills with both the customer and their fellow team member
Greets the customers at the counter, presents the menu, makes suggestions and answers questions related to menu
Takes take-out and delivery orders and transmits them to kitchen staff through the POS system
Ability to handle extremely busy meal rush times, stressful situations, and multiple running tasks with professionalism and courtesy
Prepares and serves beverages, salads, condiments and desserts
Has a professional appearance
Applies health regulations as to cleanliness
Applies safety regulations
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 18 years of age.
Skill(s): Moderate reading and writing skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Experience: Prior experience in related food service positions preferred.

e. Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
