CLC Receptionist

USU Credit Union is seeking to hire 2 part-time receptionists in our Consumer Lending Center
ROLE:
Receives or directs telephone calls. Originates loan applications, performs transactions and answers questions pertaining to accounts, and the general operations of the Credit Union. Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner when greeting individuals on the phone and in person to assure high quality service to all.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Receives or directs telephone calls. Originates loan applications, performs transactions and answers questions. Actively sells Credit Union products and services. Helps members resolve problems, while keeping phone time as brief as possible. Process mail correspondence. Performs a variety of operational support duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Effective public relations skills and a good understanding of the loan application process. Good math skills. Ability to sell CU products. Six months of similar or related experience. Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
