Kennel Assistant
Kennel Assistants work to maintain a healthy environment and sanitary conditions for all animals housed at the shelter, which includes:
maintaining healthy and sanitary conditions by following all established cleaning protocols, following all safety protocols, providing exceptional service to the public through interaction with customers regarding animal health and behavior issues, working to educate customers about the Principles of Responsible Pet Ownership, provide accurate information for staff and adopters, working in coordination with a variety of professions including staff from other areas and animal control officials, being available to assist with off-site special events as needed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
