PT/FT Receptionist

A receptionist's daily tasks will involve:
Meet and greet clients
Keep the reception area clean
Answer, screen, and forward phone calls
Sort mail
Provide Billing Assistant tasks for the Office Manager
Basic legal assistance: organize electronic scans, create pleading indexes, and close client files
Accepting cash, check, and credit card payments
Skills needed:
Be aware of the attorney's and staff's schedules and their availability
Provide a positive image to clients in person and over the phone
Self-starter that requires little guidance or supervision
Ability to use Microsoft Word & Excel, as well as the internet
Organization & attention to detail

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
