Assistant Systems Administrator

IT & Telecom Service/Support. Service area: Cache & Box Elder Counties. Some travel to SLC required. Interacting with various business types & customers/users. Good communications and customer support skills necessary. Some weekend on call coverage required. Company vehicle provided.
Job
Responsibilities:
-Provide workstation and server support for small businesses both onsite and remote.
-Support and deploy hardware and software systems
-Monitor and maintain backup systems
-Documentation of complete networks
-Setup and maintain WAN circuits and hosting plans.
-Maintain server room infrastructure and network cabling
-Communicate with customers to troubleshoot and solve a wide variety of computer related issues.
-Occasional weekend and after hours support will be required.
Required Skills:
-Install and support Windows 2008, 7, DNS, DHCP
-Understanding of TCP/IP and basics of LAN/WAN networking.
-Some experience or training in an IT field is required.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service.
Other Useful Skills:
-Private and Cloud Virtualization solutions including cloud backup.
-Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
