Job Description
The title clerk/bookkeeper position will be responsible for maintaining all titles from sold and purchased vehicles. They will also be responsible for submitting all title work in a timely and accurate manner. In addition to title work this position will also include some data entry in QuickBooks and our dealer software.
Responsibilities
Bookkeeper responsibilities would include:
- Entering expenses against vehicles in our inventory.
- Daily deposit preparation
- Credit card expense entry & reconciliation
- Entering checks & other transactions into QuickBooks
- Various reports.
Title Clerk responsibilities would include:
- Accurately processing incoming titles daily from auctions.
- Answering customer inquiries or concerns in person, e-mail, fax, or telephone in a professional, customer-focused manner.
- Opening and accurately recording incoming titles daily according to established procedures.
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution specific to titles.
- Matching sold titles to invoices.
Qualifications
Previous experience with title work or QuickBooks is preferred but not required. Pay will be based on skills and qualifications. Position will be part time with the ability to move into a full time position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
